NOT TO DO LIST - MEXICO

Fantastic, wild parties on the most incredible beaches of Mexico; scuba diving in crystal clear waters; parachuting, snorkelling, swimming, driving, running, sunbathing...  there is nothing  you can't do in Mexico!  However, there are some things,  you should never go for!

Seven things you should never do in Mexico:

1. Think twice before ordering that Mexican dish!

The food in Mexico is much spicier, than the food that you know back home.
Mexicans use chilli peppers like your mother uses parsley – A lot!

2. Stranger danger – Be careful who you trust.
Don’t become a victim to the local charm.
Hola seniorita! Si, si, I will take you to best beach in whole Mexico”.
Seniorita takes a taxi for 300 pesos, cheapest rate on the Cozumel Island.
In case you were wondering, this beach doesn’t exist
and you will be 300 pesos down.

3. Do you like colourful fish?
Yes? Great, you will have no problem.
No? You better not bring that bright bikini,
unless you want to be stalked by the entirety of the Atlantic Ocean.

4.  You are going to see a lot of huge lizards.
Do not feed or touch them! It is disrespectful to interfere with Mexico’s wild life.
You might accidentally loose your finger or you could get yourself into serious trouble.

5. Speaking of serious trouble, don’t misbehave.
All police in Mexico are heavily armed and have a zero tolerance policy.

6.  Don’t forget to power up, keep your electronics fully charged.
That moment you don’t charge your camera will be the one moment you need it the most.
The same role applies for your mobile phone,
unless you want to get stranded with Antonio from Cancun.

7. Have you ever heard about a worm in a bottle of tequila?
A Mexican myth suggests, that if you were to eat this worm, then you shall be eternally lucky, hmmm…. Be aware, that to get lucky you have to down the entire bottle first :)
